Merc for Her! (and him)

Merc is mainly known for creating a very 1960's Mod look menswear line. Founded by Javid Alavi in London in 1967, and with a presence on Carnaby Street, Merc Clothing aimed to fill a demand for a specific look in 1960s England. We now have a couple items for all you ladies out there! The Rita Polo shirt has a 3 button placket and is made of 100% pique cotton and is available in white and black! Polo dresses are very popular in the Northern Soul Scene today and back in the sixties! Every gal needs one in their closet. It is the perfect little dress to dance all night in! It also works great to wear to work or even out for a casual evening. Merc now has the Kara Polo dress available in 2 color choices Black and Navy. Made of 100% Pique Cotton, this adorable dress features tipping on the collar and sleeves and has a Merc Crown embroidered on the chest. We did not forget about you fellas out there. 2 great new button downs arrived. The Ashford Button Down features a large gingham check that is timeless and will never go out of style. The Shipley Geo Print Button Down is a throwback to the 1960's mod. It can be worn under a suit to get a true mod look or its busy pattern can stand on its own with a pair of jeans. Be sure to check out the ALL Merc in stock.
