Internationally published plus size model and published author, Kat Stroud, is an advocate for anti-bullying and an activist for size acceptance for all body shapes and sizes! This 5'1 powerhouse of a little lady is rocking the runway and gracing the pages of various publications all while working on her paranormal romance/adventure series titled The Gaurdians Of Worlds! The first novel in the series, The Lost Power, is out now! What got you into modeling?
Modeling actually was something I was kind of thrown into! I was proud of how far I had come in my journey to love my body so I decided to join the California Plus Pageant, where I won the Directors Choice Award, and found I really enjoyed being on the runway and getting glammed up for shoots. Well, when I returned home I had several photographers contact me about wanting to shoot and the rest is kind of history!
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I love spending time with my husband and our fur-babies: two labs and two kitties! Going for walks, picnics, and I love a good playground session on the swings! I tend to be very nerdy... I love to read, watch documentaries, and write quite a bit. And I am a Disney fanatic lol so there tends to be some kind of Disney film going on in the background.
Cat or dog person?
I am definitely a cat and dog person! I could never choose between the two; which is why I have both for pets!
What's your must have accessory that you can't leave home without?
My must have accessory is definitely a hair flower, head scarf, or cute headband! I am all about adding cuteness to any hair-do! Even a messy bun can be made to look perfectly done if you have the right hair accessory to add to it!
What's your favorite Sourpuss item?
Oh goodness, favorite Sourpuss item... Now that's a toughie... I would have to say the Sourpuss Lost Love Parasol and the Sourpuss Dance Card Dress in the Pink Bats print! I know technically that's two, but I couldn't decide between them!
